How to sign, edit, and securely store your engagement and case agreements.
When you accept a quotation from a professional, an engagement agreement is generated for your case or service.
Open the Agreements page from your dashboard to view all agreements associated with your cases and engagements.
Review the agreement carefully — it includes the scope of services, pricing model, agreed amount, timeline, and terms.
To sign, open the agreement and follow the signing prompt. Both you and the professional must sign for the agreement to take effect.
Once both parties have signed, the agreement status updates and your case moves into active work.
If you have questions about the terms before signing, use the case messaging to discuss them with the professional.
Always read the full agreement before signing. If something is unclear, ask the professional to clarify or request changes before you sign.
If you or the professional need to change the scope, pricing, or timeline, request an amendment before signing.
Use the case messaging to discuss and confirm the updated terms with the professional.
The professional can regenerate or update the agreement to reflect the agreed changes.
Review the updated agreement to make sure all changes are reflected accurately before signing.
Once an agreement is signed by both parties, changes require a new or amended agreement — edits to a signed document are not permitted.
Keep all amendment discussions in the case messaging so there's a clear record of what was agreed.
Signed agreements are treated as final. Any modification after signing requires a new agreement that both parties review and sign again.
All signed agreements are stored securely within your case and engagement records.
Access them anytime from the Agreements page on your dashboard, organized by case or service engagement.
Related documents — including secure case documents and compliance filings — are stored in encrypted storage with access controlled by email authorization.
You can download or print an agreement for your own records using the options on the Agreements page.
Agreements remain accessible even after a case is closed or an engagement is completed, so you always have a copy of what was agreed.
Your agreements and documents are protected with row-level security — only you and the professionals authorized on your case can access them.
